Just read your blog. Wow, do I feel lazy. I also garden and knit but have only dyed once. You make it sound so easy–I got bogged in the mordant thing. Did you know that you can use dried marigolds for a dye bath?

Funny you should bring up the dried marigolds! I have been picking and drying some as they bloom in my garden and once I have enough I’m going to try to make a dye bath from them. Thanks for “stopping by”!
